Andorra is a small country located in the Pyrénées Mountains in between France and Spain. The geography is mountainous, with many small valleys.
The STA is the Public Telecommunications company of Andorra. STA uses Hypercable® at two locations to distribute analog TV channels to retransmission stations located in the small valleys.
The complicated system of retransmission employed in Andorra to provide nationwide coverage for the channels broadcast in Andorra has been running without problem since 1994, and Hypercable® is an integral part of that system.
